so what to tell,

well, kynsie had to have surgery last friday to remove a dermoid cyst from her right eye. It was about the size ofa large english pea.  we had noticed a bump on her eye about 6 months ago and asked the dr. about it. he said it was nothing, but then it grew larger and we were concerned so we sought out a plastic surgeon to remove it.  Anyway, sunny and i were a nervous wreck while she was in surgery. it only lasted about 30 min, but seemed like a million years. they had to sedate her and when she woke up she was CRANKY!!! so much that she burst blood vessels in her neck and face from screaming! oh - it was enough to make daddy cry. oh, i wanted to help her so much. and to make matters worse, they had placed an iv in the hand that she uses to suck her thumb - p'd her off.

but she is fine now. she has some bruising in the eye and a little swelling, but it will go away. the dr. says that she will be fine and that there isn't anything to worry about.

other than that, it's been kind of quiet.  Mamaw and Papaw and Jonathan came to see us this past weekend and we had a blast. some pictures are on the other blog.

hope everyone is well.

Domine Fili unigenite, Iesu Christe, Domine Deus, Agnus Dei, Filius Patris, qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis; qui tollis peccata mundi, suscipe deprecationem nostram. Qui sedes ad dexteram Patris, miserere nobis.

Quoniam tu solus Sanctus, tu solus Dominus, tu solus Altissimus, Iesu Christe, cum Sancto Spiritu in gloria Dei Patris. Amen

thanks for the answers to my previous question in the last post. i think people do just take their kids however they are to church and drop them off. i mean, i think that god understands that your kids are sick and you are looking out for others if you miss church one time.

today is the 30th of july and we aren't over the stuff yet!!! we keep passing it back and forth. sunny's had it, i had it, all 3 kids had it...it's a mad house. but we've all got antibiotics and are starting to get better.

hope all had a great weekend. by the way, i have placed new pictures on my other blog if you want to see the kiddos.

hope you have a marvelous day!

so i'm sitting at my desk thinking of something to write about and i don't really have anything to write about. things at the hall house are pretty good. we have gotten moved in and are trying to finish painting rooms and all. we are living out of boxes right now. you never know how much crap you have until you box it up and try to move it. i don't want to think about moving for quite some time.

it took me 2 trips in a 26' moving truck to get all the stuff we had. it also was funny to see me going down the main road in knoxville in a 26' 5 speed truck. now keep in mind, it's been 5 years since i have driven a stick shift so i was relying on the gear shift knob to show me the gears. well, the knob had been turned and what i was seeing as 1st gear was actually reverse and i couldn't figure the blame thing out. so i'm at a stop light, people are cussing / honking at me, it dies on me 3 times, the light changes 3 times and i'm going backwards when i thought i was in first.

after 30 minutes i made it home. we lived 5 minutes from the U-Haul place.

we took the kids to church again this past week and it wore Kyan out, in fact he fell asleep in the care on the way home...here is a picture...
